Statement of Faith

Below is Displayed Faith’s Statement of Faith.   Displayed Faith pledges to ensure that all content published here will meet the standards of our Statement of Faith.  That said, if you do happen to see something that is questionable, we encourage you to let us know that we may ensure the message of Christ to the world.

The Triune God:

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

The Bible:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God, infallible and authoritative.

Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, wholly God and wholly man, and His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death, resurrection, and ascension.  We believe in His personal return in power and glory.

Man:

We believe man to be created in the image of God, after His likeness.  We believe in man’s need for salvation, redemption, and restoration is a result of sin.

Salvation:

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice on behalf of all men to satisfy the divine justice God requires; and that all who believe in Christ and repent from their sins are declared forgiven by His sacrifice.  Being forgiven, believers are free to enter back into relationship with God.

Church:

We believe in the Church united by Christ, as a global composition of people called to the singular purpose of worshiping God, sharing the Gospel, and serving the needs of their communities out of love for God.
